Betsy McLellan is a full-time artist living and working in Yarmouth, Maine. Originally from Winchester, MA, she received a BFA in Painting with a minor in Art History from Boston University in 1993. After moving to Maine In 2001, Betsy was awarded a Monhegan Carina House Residency. She primarily works in oil and is most recently drawn to Maine's landscape and quaint harbors. Her inspirations include Fairfield Porter, Edward Hopper, Henri Matisse, Richard Deibenkorn, Willem de Kooning and Wayne Thiebaud.
